Catrice Blush Flush Butter to Powder Blush Review
Catrice Blush Flush Review
Midweek, 20 Jun 2018
I have had so many questions about the new Catrice Blush Flush Limited Edition since I posted about information technology in my Haul and Kickoff Impressions. And then, even though I have a mountain of other reviews to get through, I thought I would exercise this one start. Tin we first only take a moment to capeesh the packaging? How high-cease and fabulous does information technology look?
As the proper noun suggests, this collection is all about blush, and is inspired by the latest makeup application trend- Draping. Draping is a contouring technique used to emphasise your cheekbones using different shades of blush, as opposed to a contour and highlight. From cushion blush, to butter blush and even a liquid, mousse and ombre blush, this collection has all of your blush needs covered, no matter your texture or shade preference.
The products I was most excited for were the Ombre Blush, Cushion Blush and Fluid Glow.
The Blushing Mousse and Butter to Powder Blush come up in three shades, the Cushion Powder Cheeks and Ombre Blush Palette come in two shades, and at that place is one shade of the Fluid Glow and one Double Face Castor.
Swatches from Acme-Lesser:
Cushion Powder Cheeks in Tawny Apricot and Tanned Rose- Tawny Apricot has a matte cease, whereas Tanned Rose has a satin stop. I love both of these shades. The product is housed in the cap, and when y'all twist information technology, y'all go the perfect amount of production to dot onto your cheeks. I prefer to use a brush to blend, but you could employ the cushion or fifty-fifty your fingers. The texture of the chroma is somewhere in between a cream and a powder, a bit similiar to the Colourpop formula. It does dry downwards to a powder, so it lasts quite long on the cheeks.
Butter to Powder Blush in Peach Parfait- This feels similar a lip balm, it melts into the skin, simply dries to a pulverisation. It leaves a very slight flush on my cheeks, that leaves me looking fresh and healthy, it is and then calorie-free that it looks and feels like my skin, which I dearest! I usually discover cream blushes plow greasy on me subsequently a while, but this ane doesn't, thankfully!
Fluid Glow in Eternal Glow- These highlighting drops are and so so pretty! They tin can be used lonely to highlight, or nether a powder highlight to intensify the glow. I have likewise used this as a highlighting blush and it works so well, it doesn't emphasise imperfections and adds a bit of colour and glow to the face.
Ombre Blush Palette in Blurred Orange- This palette has such a expert variety of shades and finishes, from a light pink to a rusty bronze in both matte and shimmery finishes. This palette is the warm version of the ii, and the other palette would all-time suit those with cooler undertones. The last swatch shows a swirl of all of the shades together. The pulverisation is soft and buttery and blends really well, and I am actually happy with this palette.
Final, and definitely least is the Double Face Brush- This brush is meant to exist for cream and pulverisation, depending on which side you use. The blackness bristles are supposed to exist for applying powder, but they are but as well dense, and practise not work at all. The natural coloured bristles are meant to be for applying cream products, and they work quite nicely. I also like using this side of the brush to press in the concealer under my eyes, I find it similiar to my Sephora 56 one, although not as expert. There are definitely ameliorate brushes out there, and this one is definitely ane to skip in my opinion.
What do you call back of the Catrice Blush Affluent Limited Edition?
